The radio module is intended for automated pulse reading from a utility meter and data transmission to the metering system via the LoRaWAN wireless network.

The module is powered by an energy-efficient battery that supports at least 10 years of autonomous operation when data is transmitted four times per day.

The collected data is processed and displayed in a centralized metering system, enabling timely monitoring of resource consumption. The platform supports logs with hourly, daily, monthly, and annual detail.

The data transmission interval can be configured in the mobile application, from once per hour to once per day.

The warranty period is:
– 24 months for retail sales;
– up to 60 months (5 years) for project deliveries.

Description

How it works

The Jooby pulse radio module is installed on a wall or another flat surface close to the meters and connected to the required metering unit via a sensor.

To activate the module, hold a magnet against the corresponding icon on the housing for 7 seconds. Installation takes only a few minutes and does not require removing the meter.

After activation, the device sends readings to the base station over the LoRaWAN network. The data is then forwarded to the utility provider’s server and becomes available in the Jooby RDC Dashboard administrative panel. Current readings can also be sent manually using the touch button.

For reliable data storage, the readings are saved in the device’s internal non-volatile memory.
