Description
The radio module with a sensor for HIDROCONTA hidroJet water meters is intended for automated pulse reading from metering devices and secure data transmission via the LoRaWAN wireless network. Its IP68/68 protection rating helps ensure reliable operation in environments exposed to dust and moisture.
The module is powered by an energy-efficient battery that supports at least 10 years of autonomous operation when data is transmitted four times per day.
The collected data is processed and displayed in a unified metering system, allowing users to monitor resource consumption in real time. The system also keeps logs with hourly and daily detail.
The data transmission interval can be configured in the mobile application, from once per hour to once per day.
The warranty period is:
– 24 months for retail sales;
– up to 60 months (5 years) for project deliveries.

How it works
| The Jooby pulse radio module is installed on a wall or other flat surface close to the meters. The device is then connected to water, gas, heat, or electricity meters using a sensor. To activate the radio module, a magnet is held against the corresponding icon on the housing for 7 seconds to trigger the touch button. Installation takes only a few minutes and does not require the meter to be removed. Instant readings can also be sent using the touch button.
After activation, the device starts transmitting readings over the LoRaWAN network to a base station. From there, the data is forwarded to the resource provider’s server and becomes available in the Jooby RDC Dashboard administrative panel. For reliable operation, the data is saved in built-in non-volatile memory. The device is LoRa Alliance certified, confirming its compliance with international LoRaWAN standards. |
