How it works
Installing the module is super-fast and easy using standard fasteners. Once installed, it is activated using an intuitive mobile app. At no time does the meter need to be removed.
The radio module uses a magnetic field sensor to gather data directly from the meter. The sensor detects the meter’s dial rotation, producing a pulse for each complete turn. These pulses are then captured and recorded by the data transmission subsystem.
Collected consumption data is transmitted directly to the supplier’s server over a LoRaWAN wireless network. Therefore, the supplier can obtain current meter readings in real-time. Moreover, the data transmission rate is configurable from once per hour to once daily.
Consumption data is securely stored in the module’s non-volatile memory. This will hold the data for two months (where the transmissions are hourly) or one year (where daily transmissions are configured).
