Smart external connection sensor for ALTAIR water meters. This inductive sensor has been specifically designed for the purpose of transferring information from analog water meters to the Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 200/204/205 EU pulse radio module. It is installed on the meter’s casing and connected to the radio module. Subsequently, the sensor initiates the recording of the water meter measuring hand revolutions and forwards this data to the pulse radio module.

Description

How it works

The sensor’s data is conveyed in the form of counted pulses, where the count corresponds to the number of revolutions of the water meter’s hand or a multiple thereof. 

All the data collected by the sensor is securely stored in the non-volatile memory of the radio module. This information is then periodically transmitted via the LoRaWAN wireless network to a server, where it undergoes conversion into readable readings.

This process ensures that utility companies receive precise and timely information regarding their customers’ consumption patterns.
