How it works
The gateways function within the coverage area of a cellular network, strategically placed near clusters of radio modules that gather various types of information. For instance, a gateway can be installed near a residential complex where radio modules collect data from resource meters, such as water, gas, and electricity. These radio modules transmit the collected data to the gateway via the LoRaWAN network. The gateway then forwards the received information to a destination server for data processing. Additionally, LAN can be used to transfer data from the gateway to the server.
