NB-IoT radio module with a sensor for reading pulses from Sensus 620 water meters

The pulse radio module is designed for automated collection of resource consumption data and transmission of this information to service providers and management companies via the NB-IoT network.

The device is powered by an energy-efficient battery that ensures at least 10 years of autonomous operation when data is transmitted once per day.

The collected data is processed automatically and displayed in a unified metering system, allowing users to monitor consumption quickly and conveniently. The system also keeps logs with hourly and daily detail.

The data transmission interval can be adjusted in the mobile application, from once per hour to once per day.

The warranty period is:

– 24 months for retail sales;

– up to 60 months (5 years) for project deliveries.

Description

How it works

The device is mounted close to the metering unit, securely fixed, and connected to the meter via a sensor. Sensor compatibility should be verified before installation to ensure correct operation with the Jooby radio module.

The device is activated with a magnet. After startup, the radio module automatically reads the meter values and transmits metering pulses. At the configured interval, the data is sent to the server over the NB-IoT wireless network. On the server, it is converted into readings and made available to the provider in the metering system. Current readings can also be sent using the touch button.
