The JOOBY JWM ultrasonic water meter is designed for precise measurement of cold and hot water usage in residential buildings, offices, and industrial facilities. Utilizing ultrasonic technology, it ensures accurate measurements without any moving parts. The meter is equipped with a two-row LCD display for easy data reading and supports connectivity to LoRaWAN and IoT for real-time monitoring.

Powered by long-life batteries, the meter includes features such as a data archive for readings, event logs, and alarms. It has capabilities to detect leaks, pipe ruptures, reverse flow, and other operational issues. The nominal water consumption rate for this meter is 2.5 m 3/h.

Description

How it works

The meter is installed using mounting fittings and appropriate-sized cap nuts, followed by connection and activation procedures. After installation and water filling, the meter is activated and can connect to the LoRaWAN network to transmit water consumption readings to an accounting system.

It can store hourly readings for three months and daily readings for up to two years. Additionally, the log can retain the latest 256 events or alarms.

Powering the meter are two 3.6 V batteries, each with a lifespan of 15 years.
