How it works
Once the sensor is installed on the meter and connected to the radio module, it begins tracking the magnet’s rotations inside the water meter. The sensor generates pulses based on a predefined pulse ratio and relays the information to the radio module. The data transmitted corresponds to the meter pulses, which reflect or are proportional to the number of magnet revolutions. This information is then stored in the radio module’s non-volatile memory and periodically transmitted via the LoRaWAN network to a server, where it is converted into readable meter data.
