The JOOBY JWM ultrasonic water meter is designed to measure cold and hot water usage in residential buildings, offices, and industrial facilities. It utilizes ultrasonic technology for precise measurements without any moving parts. Equipped with a two-row LCD display, the device facilitates easy data reading.

Real-time data monitoring is possible through connectivity options such as LoRaWAN or IoT. The meter operates on long-lasting batteries and features functionalities like storing readings in an archive, maintaining event logs, and issuing alarms. It is capable of identifying issues such as leaks, pipe ruptures, and reverse flow.

The nominal water consumption rate for this model is 4 m3/h.

Description

How it works

The meter is installed using appropriately sized mounting fittings and cap nuts. After installation and water filling, it is prepared for activation and can be linked to a LoRaWAN network to send water consumption readings to your accounting system.

It maintains a dedicated log capable of storing hourly readings for three months and daily readings for two years. Additionally, the log retains the latest 256 events or alarms.

Powering the meter are two separate 3.6 V batteries, each with a lifespan of 15 years.
