Smart external connection sensor for the Apator water meter. The Jooby Aquaris SNS smart optical sensors are purpose-built for reading data from analog water meters, achieved by monitoring the rotation of the meter’s pointer. These sensors, part of the same series, are seamlessly compatible with the Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 201 EU pulse radio module. What’s unique about these sensors is that they derive power from the signal wire of the Pulse Radio Module, ensuring their longevity.

How it works

The sensor is connected to the radio pulse module and fixed on the water meter. After installation, the device begins counting the number of meter pointer rotations and transmits the number of pulses equal to or divisible by this value to the radio pulse module.

All data transmitted by the sensor is retained in the radio module’s non-volatile memory before being transmitted to the server via the LoRaWAN network and converted into readings. This cycle ensures that your readings are error-free and delivered on time.

Compared to other radio modules in the OMNI series, the Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 201 EU features a larger battery capacity, which effectively extends the sensor’s service life.
